How: Joshua 4:19-24; 24:31
Deut. 6:4-9
Where: Joshua 8:30-31
Joshua 9:27
When: Joshua 24:15
II. How do we build a reminder?
To obey is better than sacrifice.
1 Samuel 15:22
Trust the Lord.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Seek Him first.
Matthew 6:33
Remember it is our job to teach our children to obey the Lord.
Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Psalm 127:4;
Proverbs 1:8 Ephesians 6:1-3
III. When do we start?
Isaiah 55:6 2 Corinthians 6:2
Hebrews 12:1-2; 12-17
We are responsible for the example we set. The word therefore is a clue that what follows is important. We must not live with only our own survival in mind. Others will follow our example, and we have a responsibility to them if we claim to live for Christ. Does your example make it easier for others to believe, follow and mature in Christ? Or would those who follow you end up confused and misled?
Praise Him in His house; praise Him at His altar.
Praise Him for who He is and what He has done.
Psalm 22:3
He inhabitest the praises of Israel.
Enthroned upon the praises of Israel.
