Preschool Ministry
SVBC provides a nursery for most all services. The nursery is open during Sunday morning services, Sunday night and Wednesday night services. The nursery is divided into three age groups: Bed Babies, Crawlers and Toddlers up through 4 years old. The purpose of our preschool is to provide a loving Christ centered, safe environment for your preschooler while attending church. Information about our nursery, including rules, procedures and safety is available at your request.
Music Ministry
This ministry is made up of an adult choir, a quartet and many wonderful soloists. We also have members who play certain instruments. We currently are in a need of a full-time piano player and drummer. If God has given one of these talents, we would love for you to use it at SVBC.
Senior Adult Ministry
As well as Sunday School, the senior adults enjoy a program called Cream of the Crop. The Cream of the Crop meet every third Tuesday of the month. They also take short trips throughout the year to places of interests. Some of those places have included:
· Riverboat Trip in Chattanooga for dinner and a performance
· Dinner and tour of Christmas Light displays in the area
Trip to the mountains (Ellijay, Jasper, Blairsville) to get apples and cider in the fall
Brotherhood Ministry
Brotherhood meets on Sunday mornings at 7:30 once a month for breakfast and fellowship. There is also a time of prayer and devotion. Special speakers attend each breakfast and different topics are covered. It is a great time of a wonderful breakfast and fellowship with other men and boys. Brotherhood has also changed things up a little and started doing a fish fry on specific Saturday evenings for the whole family.
