Prepare Yourself to Pray!

1 Thessalonians 5:17                                                                                    
17Pray without ceasing.

Luke 18:1
1And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

John 14:13                                                                                                            
13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

2 Chronicles 7:14                                                                                               
14If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Matthew 5:23-24                                                                                          
23Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

1 Peter 3:7                                                                                                    
7Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

Psalm 51:10-12 & 16-17                                                                                  
10Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
16For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

2 Timothy 2:22                                                                                                    
22Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
