I.    Cause of shaken faith!                        Ruth 1:1-5

        A)    Why would Ruth give her allegiance to Naomi and to Yahweh, the Lord
            God of Israel?



        B)    Is your faith attractive?



IV.    Ruth gleans in Boaz's field!                    Ruth 2
        A)    Ruth did what she could.                (Vs. 1-18)
            1)    She was hardworking, loving, kind, faithful and brave.



            2)    She had a good reputation:  no matter who surrounded her,
                she consistently lived out the qualities in which she believed.



        B)    Naomi faith was shaken but was still alive.    (Vs. 19-20)



V.    Ruth and Boaz marry!                        Ruth 3 & 4
        They live happily ever after.
