For God so Loved the World
John 3:16
Romans 5:8 (King James Version)

8But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Ephesians 2:4-10 (King James Version)

4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 6And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

2 Thessalonians 2:16 (King James Version)

16Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,

The results of God's love for us are many, here are a few:

I.    All the way to heaven, is heaven because Jesus said I am the way.
(read Galatians2:20.)

When we walk with Jesus, in His love we have light all the way.
(read John 14:6)

II.    Eternal life is a new kind of life.  Jesus called it abundant life.
Abundant life is what God plans to give us now.  And that kind of life is
worth living forever.  Eternal life is not just living forever with God, it is
living God's kind of life forever, beginning now.  (read John 10:20).

III.    Love for others and ministry to the world is the healthy and necessary
response that believers make to the needs around them.
                 (read John 3:21, James 2:14-26)

Remember: Nothing substitutes for believing.  God requires us to believe.
        (John 3:18)

IV.    God's love for the world gives His world a second chance.  God's compassion
reaches out to the entire world and gives us an invitation.  (Matthew 11:28-30)  Then God gives attention to our faithful response.  He gives us cause for celebration, for He has removed fear (2 Timothy 1:7) and given us life (abundant life) with Him now and forever!  Come! Believe in Him.  Prepare to go to Joy.  (Galatians 5:22-26)
